1. Membership Overview
Green Membership includes:
(a) Unlimited access to Gym Equipment and Spaces Logan Metro Fitness Centre and Mount Warren Sports and Fitness Centre during opening hours.
(b) Access to all Group Fitness Classes at both venues.
(c) Complimentary access to sports courts for casual shooting (not court hire) at Mount Warren Sports and Logan Metro Sports and Events Centres courts when courts are available.
(d) Any promotional deals or specials are subject to specific terms and conditions which may differ from these general or standards terms and conditions.

2. Facility Access
(a) Court access is subject to availability and may be withdrawn with notice.
(b) Upfront membership term is as stated at purchase.
3. Age Requirements
(a) Membership is available to individuals aged 14 and above.
(b) Members aged 14–15 require active supervision at all times while using gym facilities within the centre by a parent/guardian who is also a current member.
(c) Parental consent, including signed acknowledgement of all membership and consent forms, is mandatory for members under 16.
(d) For Members aged 16–17 Logan Leisure Centres reserves the discretion to allow membership applications without parental consent, evaluating these on a case-by-case basis.
4. Child Safety
(a) Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in gym areas at any time and must not be left unattended within the centre or designated group fitness class areas.
5. Health and Safety
(a) Upon joining a new membership, applicants may be advised that a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner is required prior to being granted permission to use or participate in any exercise program.
(b) If at any time during the membership period the member believes there is a risk to the member’s health by participating in any fitness, exercise or service provided at Logan Leisure Centre facilities, the member must inform Logan Leisure Centres in writing about the risk prior to
participating in any activity.
(c) A photo is required during sign-up for security validation.
6. Cooling-Off periods, Transfers and Refunds
(a) Logan Leisure Centre’s memberships are subject to a 48-hour cooling off period that commences at 5:30 am the first day after the agreement is signed and dated.
(b) Cancellation within this colling off period must be in writing or via the Direct Debit Cancellation Request form. Refunds are provided on a pro-rata basis; $10.00 administration fee applies to process a refund and this amount will be subtracted from any refunded amount.
(c) Upfront memberships are transferable with a $35.00 fee. This fee must be paid onsite at either location and prior to any transfers.
(d) After the cooling-off period, fees are non-refundable except in cases of permanent sickness or incapacity with medical certification provided.
7. Usage and Suspension
(a) Non-usage of membership does not warrant early termination or refunds.
(b) Logan Leisure Centre memberships may be placed on suspension. Suspension is for a minimum period of 1 month (4 weeks) and a maximum of 1 month (4 weeks) in each year.
Each year commences on the anniversary of your joining date. There is no fee for membership suspensions. Only direct debit, 6- or 12-month upfront memberships can be suspended. Membership suspension must be requested in writing, by email or by completing a Suspension Request form found at either location.
8. Passes and Entry
(a) 10 Pack Casual Gym Visit Passes expire 6 months from date of purchase.
(a) Membership cards must be swiped before every entry to the venue or participation in classes.
9. Gym Etiquette
All members must:
(a) Wear appropriate gym attire including enclosed footwear, shirt, and appropriate pants.
(b) Use towels on equipment and disinfect after use.
(c) Respect staff, other members, and equipment. Members are also required to adhere to all venue and gym conditions of entry at all times.
(d) Logan City Council is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
(b) Members may have their memberships cancelled if found using abusive or threatening language, behaving in a threatening way, or found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or any failure to adhere to above mentioned conditions of entry.
10. Renewal
(a) Following the expiry date of any membership, members are required to complete a new membership contract upon renewing or altering their membership with Logan Leisure Centres.
(b) If the member chooses to renew their membership at any time or chooses to alter their membership type, they are thereby accepting the most current terms and conditions of Logan leisure Centres membership at the time of renewal.
11. Direct Debit Terms
(a) Payments are managed via Worldpay who are an external direct debit service provider for Logan
City Council.
(b) Direct Debit Memberships are ongoing with a minimum 30-day term.
(c) All Direct Debit Fees and charges are available at venue receptions.
(d) In accordance with a direct debit request via Worldpay, the nominated card/account holder is required to agree to the conditions found within the direct debit form to authorise all direct debit transactions. Logan Leisure Centres is in no way responsible for a member’s personal bank account nor is it responsible to keep track of any direct debit transactions that occur from a member’s personal bank account over the course of a member’s membership.
(e) 30 days’ written notice required for cancellations.
(f) Cancellation during suspension triggers immediate reactivation and notice period.
(g) Membership may be cancelled after 2 dishonoured payments or non-compliance.
12. Privacy Notice
Logan City Council is collecting your name, address, date-of-birth, phone number, email address and emergency contact details, to process new gym memberships and make contact in case of an emergency. This information will only be accessed by employees and/or Councillors of Logan City Council and the Service Providers contracted to conduct activities as part of Logan Leisure Programs and classes. Your information will not be given to any other person or agency unless you have given us permission to do so or we are required/authorised by law. As a member of Logan Leisure Centres, you agree to receive SMS messages and Electronic Direct Mail (EDM – Emails) in relation to your membership and to Logan Leisure Centres programs and events offered throughout the year. Members can opt out from receiving these SMS messages and emails at any time.
13. Waiver
I acknowledge as a joining member that I am aware there is an inherent risk of injury, death or ill health resulting from the use of Logan Leisure Centres facilities and services, and from the participation in exercise programs generally. I therefore undertake to utilise these facilities and services only at my own risk and I hereby waive on behalf of myself, my heirs and executors hereafter liability against Logan City Council and its officers, employees, contractors and agents for any injury, illness, death or adverse changes in my medical condition or state of health (whether permanent or temporary), arising directly or indirectly from my use of facilities or other services provided, whether supervised or not by Logan City Council staff. I acknowledge that the services which are subject to this waiver of liability include, but are not limited to, fitness and dietary assessments, exercise programs, group fitness classes, use of the sports courts and all advice and directions relating to such services.
By signing and agreeing to these terms and conditions, the members accept all of the above Logan Leisure Centres membership terms and conditions in their current form and agree to abide by them. If the member does not wish to sign the above terms and conditions, Logan leisure Centres may not be able to provide the member with goods and/or services or administer a membership. Upon request, a copy of these signed membership forms can be provided to the member.
